Tata Power Renewables Energy Ltd completes 300 MW plant in Dholera, Gujarat

Tata Power Renewables Energy Ltd (TPREL), a Tata Power wholly-owned subsidiary, has completed a 300 MW plant in Dholera, Gujarat.

It’s the biggest single-axis solar tracker system in India. Annually, the project will create 774 MUs. It will also lower carbon emissions by roughly 704340 MT per year.

A total of 873012 Monocrystalline PV Modules are used in the installation. The project was completed on schedule and within the budget.

Despite the industry’s COVID-19 issues, TPREL, through Tata Power’s EPC arm Tata Power Solar Systems Limited, was able to execute the project on schedule owing to its superior project execution capabilities and expertise.

Tata Power oversaw the installation of a tailored system based on the geographical location and terrain characteristics.
