ZR Power Holdings to invest Rs 1,700 crore data center in Navi Mumbai

ZR Power Holdings, an Indian energy company, is constructing two data centres in India and is increasing its previously indicated commitment in the projects.

According to reports, the Telangana-based firm aims to spend more than Rs 1,700 crore ($223.2 million) on a data centre in Mahape, Navi Mumbai.

The projected 50MW facility will be built on a 10-acre property that the business is currently purchasing. By the middle of 2024, the data centre should be up and running.

The Telangana-based firm inked a memorandum of understanding with the Maharashtra government in December 2021 to invest over Rs 1,200 crore on the construction of two data centres, one in Navi Mumbai (Rs 800 crore/$105 million) and the other in Pune (Rs 400 crore/$52.5 million).
