- Victoria Ferro Alloys is planning to take up new ferro alloys unit in APIIC Growth Centre, Bobbili Bobbili, Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves establishment of ferro alloys unit with capacity 2 x 6 MVA submerged electric arc furnaces (SEAF) unit for manufacturing of SiMn – 21,600 TPA or FeMn – 31,680 TPA or FeSi – 10,800 & FeCr – 21,600 TPA and nanganese ore sinter plant (24,000 TPA). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.83.35 million. As of February 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- The Metallic Alloys is planning to take up ferro alloys expansion project in Industrial Growth Centre Siltara, Raipur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves expansion of manufacturing capacity ferro alloys from 8,000 TPA to 19,000 TPA by replacing old 1 x 6 MVA SAF by 1 x 9 MVA SAF and one new unit of 1 x 9 MVA SAF for manufacturing 19,000 TPA Ferro Alloys. Total expansion will be 8000 TPA to 38000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.150 million. As of April 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Shivam Hi Tech Steels is planning to take up a new ferro alloys manufacturing project in Hathkhoj, Bhiai, Durg, Chhattisgarh. The project involves manufacturing of 3600 MT/Year and industrial and decorative paints 1440000 Liters/Year. As of May 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Balasore Alloys is planning to take up a ferro alloys expansion project in Balgopalpur, Rasalpur, Balasore, Odisha. The project involves expanding the production capacity of ferro alloys from 145000 TPA to 160000 TPA. As of May 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Anjaney Ferro Alloys is planning to take up a new sinter plant in Pedabantupalli (V), Gurla (M), Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves producing Ferro Manganese/Silico Manganese/Ferro Silicon/Ferro Chrome – 8250 TPM, sinter plant – 1500 TPM and briquetting unit – 12500 TPM. On June 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project. As of August 2020, project involves expanding the ferro alloys unit up to 2,98,320 TPA. The company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Berry Alloys India is planning to take up new ferro alloys manufacturing project in Chausal, Tehsil-Gangajalghati, Bankura, West Bengal. The project involves manufacturing of Ferro Manganese (1,25,000 TPA) or Silico Manganese 1,00,000 TPA or Ferro Silica 70,000 TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1000 million. As of July 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Ramink Power and Alloys is planning to take up ferro alloys plant modernization project in Sarandi Industrial Growth Centre Tehsil Waraseoni, Dist-Balaghat, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves modernization/ change in configuration of existing ferro alloys plant by adding sub merged arc furnace (SAF) without increasing the granted production capacity (54 TPD) along with 6 MW bio mass based power plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.488.3 million. As of July 2020, the project has been given final environmental clearance by ministry of Environment and forest.
- Shyam Metalics And Energy is planning to take up new micro carbon ferro chrome manufacturing project in Pandloi, Sambalpur, Orissa. The project involves manufacturing of micro carbon ferro chrome with capacity 23760 Ton. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on February 2020. As of July 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Gautam Ferro Alloy (A Unit of BFCL) is planning to take up ferro alloys plant expansion project in Notified Ramgarh Industrial Area, Marar, Ramgarh, Jharkhand. The project involves expand the capacity of existing Ferro Alloys Plant from 96TPD of FeMn/SiMn to 265TPD HC/MC/LC FeMn or 165TPD SiMn by modification in existing Submerged Arc Furnace ( SAF’s) 2×5+1×7.5MVA and a new 9 MVA SAF along with a new 15MT per batch CLU converter for refining of HC FeMn to MC/LC FeMn . The estimated cost of the project is Rs.500 million. As of August 2020, environment clearance for the project is underway.
