- Stove Kraft is planning to take up a pressure cooker manufacturing expansion project in Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of pressure cooker with capacity 6 Lakhs Nos/Annum. As of May 2020, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
- Clad Metal India is planning to take up new refrigerator parts manufacturing project in Gangapur, Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The project involves manufacturing of refrigerator parts with capacity 170 MT. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2020. As of June 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Subros is planning to take up new air conditioner manufacturing project in Theda, Baddi, Solan, Himachal Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing air conditioner of commercial and home with capacity 5 million Nos. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.286.3 million. As of June 2020, State Level Single Window Clearance Committee has approved the investment proposal.
- Padget Electronics is planning to take up new set-top box manufacturing project in Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of set-top box with capacity 1.2 million Nos. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on January 2020. As of June 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Voltas is planning to take up new air conditioners manufacturing project in Electronic Manufacturing Cluster, Vikruthamala, Yerpedu, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves manufacturing of air conditioners with capacity 1 Million Nos, commercial refrigerators(deep freezers/coolers) 150000 Nos. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on February 2020. As of July 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Western Refrigeration is planning to take up new refrigerator manufacturing project in Umbergaon, Valsad, Gujarat. The project involves manufacturing of refrigerator for commercial use with capacity 5 Lakhs Nos. The company has filed industrial entrepreneurs’ memorandum on March 2020. As of September 2020, the project is in planning stage.
- Abaj Electronics joint venture with QThree Techpark, is planning to take up new TV and air-conditioning manufacturing facility in Mehsana, Gujarat. The project involves setting up a TV and air-conditioning manufacturing facility spread across 13 acres, will be outfitted with robotic technology and machinery. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.10000 million. As of October 2020, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani on Wednesday performed a virtual ground-breaking ceremony for a techpark.
