The prestigious Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) has awarded L&T Construction’s Heavy Civil Infrastructure business vertical a large contract to design and construct the Underground Metro Project of Phase-IV of the Delhi MRTS.
The project’s main scope of work includes the design and construction of a 5-kilometer Twin Tunnel (Up and Down Line) by Shield Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), a Cut and Cover Tunnel box, an Underground Ramp, and four underground stations: Chhattarpur, Chhattarpur Mandir, IGNOU, and Neb Sarai, as well as associated works for the Aerocity to Tughlakabad Corridor of Delhi MRTS Phase IV.
A large portion of the construction is in South Delhi and must be finished in 42 months.
