Adani Enterprises’ Coal to Poly-Vinyl Chloride Project
Adani Enterprises is planning to take up Coal to poly-vinyl chloride project in Village Vandh & Tunda, Taluka Mundra, Kachchh, Gujarat. The project involves setting up various plants such as semi coke unit (Coal Pyrolysis Process) 2030 KTPA, Calcium carbide unit 2900 KTPA, Acetylene unit 860 KTPA, VCM unit 2002 KTPA, PVC unit 2000 KTPA ,Caustic soda unit (Chlor Alkali Process) 1310 KTPA, Ethylene glycol (MEG, DEG, TEG) 400 KTPA, Cement plant: 6.0 MTPA, Clinker 4MTPA on total plot area 800 acres. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.349000 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Gulshan Polyols’ New Ethanol Unit
Gulshan Polyols is planning to take up a new ethanol unit in MPAKVN Industrial Area, Borgaon, Sausar, Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves establishment of ethanol (500 KLD) and co-generation power Ppant (14.9 MW). The project is estimated to cost Rs.3000 million. As of September 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
