Northeast Frontier Railway has issued a letter of acceptance (LoA) to Ashoka Buildcon for a project including the EPC electrification of railway lines in the state of Assam.
The project’s accepted offer is Rs 692.50 crore. The contract has a 900-day duration.
Ashoka Buildcon specialises in road building and maintenance, as well as land support-operation of toll highways.
In the quarter ending December 2021, the company’s consolidated net profit increased to Rs 392.47 crore, up from Rs 88.45 crore in the preceding quarter. In Q3 FY22, sales increased 10.34 percent year on year to Rs 1440.49 crore.
