Jammu Smart City Ltd (JSCL) signed an agreement on Monday for the development of Apsara road’s ‘High Street’ Gole market area, as well as the bordering roads, with the goal of improving street, walkability experience, and connectivity for inhabitants, according to an official.
The Rs 50-crore development project, funded by the Union Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA), will improve the road’s aesthetics as well as the social and economic conditions of the surrounding community, according to the official.
Preet Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Jeewan Nagar, Nanak Nagar, Trikuta Nagar, Nai Basti, Rampura, and other residential colonies surround the Apsara Road, which is one of Jammu’s most prominent commercial and institutional zones.
