Chambal Fertilisers and Chemicals’ board has given nod to setting up a plant for manufacture of Technical Ammonium Nitrate (TAN) at its existing manufacturing facility at Gadepan, in Kota district of Rajasthan.
The new plant will have a capacity to manufacture 2,20,000 tpa of TAN and 1,80,000 tpa of weak nitric acid. The project cost is estimated at Rs 1,170 crore and is expected to be completed in the next 36 months.
The Technical Ammonium Nitrate to be manufactured shall cater primarily to the domestic market in India.
