Linde India’s board of directors has approved a capital expenditure proposal for the construction of a 264 tonnes per day merchant Air Separation Unit in New Industrial Park, Hero Hitech Cycle Valley near Ludhiana, Punjab, in order to secure growth in the gases business in Northern markets while also reducing costs.
The Board has approved Rs 152.1 crore in capital expenditure for the construction of the aforementioned air separation plant, which is projected to be operational by December 2023. The company’s own resources/internal accruals will be used to fund this capital investment.
