Adani Group is investing more than Rs 4,600 crore in two data centre projects in Uttar Pradesh, reports said quoting government sources.
Adani Enterprises is building two data centres in Noida sectors 62 and 80 at a total cost of Rs 4,646 crore, according to UP MSME and export promotion minister Sidharth Nath Singh.
He stated that UP has attracted almost Rs 18,000 crore in investment in the high-tech data centre scene.
“We have a clear focus to make UP a front-ranking state in India and to generate more and more employment for the youth.” Other projects, according to Singh, include a data centre worth Rs 1,697 crore being built by NIDP Developers at Greater Noida’s Knowledge Park.
