Vikas Ecotech Limited has declared plans to engage in environmentally friendly Bio Plastics (PHA) technology and is nearing completion of a technical tie-up/joint venture with Aurapha Private Limited to make biodegradable plastics.
Concerns about the environmental impact of traditional plastics are well-founded, and the solution is to switch to biodegradable plastics such as Poly-Hydroxy-Alkanoates (PHA).
PHAs are biopolymers created by a variety of bacteria and are biodegradable in nature. They are made from renewable materials in an environmentally benign approach.
