National Highway Logistics Management floats tender for ropeway project

A ropeway project in Uttarakhand has been advertised by the National Highway Logistics Management.

The scope of endeavour comprises developing a hybrid annuity ropeway project from Govind Ghat to Ghangaria and Hemkund Sahib (HAM).

The project is anticipated to be about Rs 764 crore. It will take just 30 minutes for pilgrims to reach both the shrines by ropeways.

“A project has also been started so that the faithful can come to Kedarnath ji through cable car. There is also the holy Hemkund Sahib ji nearby. Preparation is underway to build a ropeway to facilitate a visit to Hemkund Sahib ji,” the Prime Minister had said during his visit to Kedarnath.
