Through Tariff Based Competitive Bidding, UPNEDA has issued SJVN Limited (“SJVN”) a Letter of Intent for a 75 MW grid linked Solar Power Project in Gurhah, Jalaun District, and a 50 MW grid connected Solar Power Project in Jrai, Kanpur Dehat District in Uttar Pradesh.
SJVN would create solar power projects in village Gurhah, Tehsil – Orai, Jalaun district, and another project near village Gujrai, Kanpur Dehat district in Uttar Pradesh, as identified by UPNEDA.
For both of these projects, SJVN has quoted a tariff of Z2.98 per KWh, and the power generated will be purchased by UPNEDA for a period of 25 years.
