The project of four laning of NH-161 from Mangalore to the Telangana/Maharashtra Border in the State of Telangana under the Bharatmala Pariyojana on Hybrid Annuity Mode has received provisional completion certificate from the government.
On December 15, 2021, the authorities declared the project ready for commercial operation. The project is estimated to cost Rs 936 crore.
