Adani Transmission Ltd (ATL), India’s largest power transmission business, has secured two projects in Gujarat and Tamil Nadu that would provide connection to critical renewable energy projects.
ATL announced in a statement that it had been awarded a Rs 200 crore 400-kV Karur Transmission Project in Tamil Nadu. It also secured the Rs 1,200-crore Khavda-Bhuj project, which is part of India’s largest renewable-energy-based evacuation system.
The Khavda Bhuj project will assist in the evacuation of around 3 GW of renewable energy from the Gujarat town of Khavda.
