Attero is planning to invest Rs 300 crore to boost its present lithium-ion battery recycling capacity by 11 times to 11,000 tonnes by the end of 2022.
According to market estimates, India produces more than 50,000 tonnes of lithium-ion battery trash each year, with growth ranging from 40 to 80 percent depending on the models used to calculate electric car growth in India, said Nitin Gupta, CEO and co-founder of Attero Recycling.
Attero is an e-waster recycling company in India offering the latest technology for eco-friendly and sustainable use of resources.
