Amp Energy India commissions 13.5 MW solar power project in Maharashtra

Amp Energy India, a renewable energy company, announced on Monday that it has completed its second open access solar project in Maharashtra. According to a corporate release, Amp Energy India recently commissioned a 13.5 MW solar power facility for cement manufacturer Orient Cement.

According to the announcement, the 13.5 MW project in Osmanabad, Maharashtra, would provide solar electricity to Orient Cement’s manufacturing facilities in the state.

For the next 25 years, Orient Cement has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Amp Energy India for the purchase of solar power.
