The Adani Group’s flagship company, Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL), has won a Letter of Award (LoA) from the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) to build three main segments of the greenfield Ganga Expressway on a DBFOT (Toll) basis. The concession will be for 30 years.
The Ganga Expressway, which would connect Meerut and Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh, will be India’s longest expressway to be built on a DBFOT basis.
AEL will construct 464 kilometres of the expressway from Budaun to Prayagraj, accounting for 80 percent of the total length.
