Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated its 2nd wind turbine system in Bhanvad (Dwarka district, Gujarat), around 350 kilometres from the company’s Vithalapur facility.
This has been done to reduce its reliance on non-renewable resources by using hybrid energy systems (wind & solar).
Honda will now produce a total of 4.7 MW wind energy, including its first wind turbine system (2 MW capacity) erected last year in Radhanpur (Patan district, Gujarat) with an investment of INR 176 million.
