L&T Construction’s water and wastewater treatment business has received a “huge” order from the Uttar Pradesh government to undertake rural water supply projects, according to Larsen & Toubro.
The State Water & Sanitation Mission (SWSM) of Uttar Pradesh has given L&T Construction another order to develop rural water supply projects with functioning house tap connections as part of the Jal Jeevan Mission.
Larsen & Toubro (L&T)) has been tasked with implementing rural water supply projects to meet the potable water needs of 1,900 villages in the Prayagraj revenue division of the Prayagraj district, according to a regulatory filing.
