Venky’s (India) has announced the launch of a new initiative in its animal health product category to manufacture veterinary medication goods.
For this aim, the business has purchased 15030 square metres of land in Satara, Maharashtra. The project is scheduled to be finished in March 2022, with commercial production beginning in June 2022.
The company stated in an exchange filing that this project will focus on producing veterinary medicines powders (600 tonnes per year) and veterinary medicines liquids (300 kilolitres per year) to meet the growing demand from the poultry industry.
