The Western Railway has invited tenders for work on the Mumbai-Ratlam and Vadodara-Ahmedabad sections.
The scope of work includes the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 220/132/55 kV traction substation, sectioning posts (SPs), and sub-sectioning posts (SSPs) (two x 25 kV System scott connected transformer) for the Mumbai-Ratlam and Vadodara-Ahmedabad sections of the Western Railway, as well as the raising of speed to 160 km per hour on the BCT-
The project is anticipated to cost Rs 305.18 crore and will take 24 months to complete.
