Welspun One Logistics Parks (WOLP) announced the purchase of 40 acres of property near Bengaluru with an investment of Rs 300 crore, to build a large-scale warehousing facility to serve the Bengaluru Metropolitan Region (BMR).
Welspun One recently inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government’s nodal agency to set up warehousing facilities across the region, according to WOLP. This is the first of six projects under the MoU.
According to Welspun One, the initiatives that would be carried out under the MoU are expected to bring in direct investments of almost Rs 2,500 crore to the state.
