- Tripura Ispat is planning to take up M.S billets expansion project in Bodhjungnagar Induslrial Growlh Centre,P.O – R.K. Nagar, Tripur (W), Tripura. The project involves expansion of M.S billets production from 30,000 TPA to 62,400 TPA, TMT Bar/Wire Rods/Flats from 31,236 TPA to 60,000 TPA by installation of additional 1×10 Ton induction furnace with existing 1×10 Ton and 1×6 Ton induction furnace. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.440.2 million. As of June 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Maa Kudargarhi Energy and Ispat is planning to take up new greenfield steel plant in village Tangargaon, tehsil Kansabel, Jashpur, Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up greenfield steel plant to produce 462000 TPA sponge iron, 520000 TPA billets, 500000 TPA TMT bars and 70 MW CPP. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.6107 million. As of January 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Gajkesari Steels and Alloys is planning to take up M.S. billets expansion project in Additional MIDC Area, Jalna, Maharashtra. The project involves expansion of production of M.S. billets from 700 TPD to 1800 TPD & production of 1800 TPD TMT bars by hot rolled process. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2500 million. As of January 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Risen Industries is planning to take up new mini steel plant in Sarda Village, Berla, Bemetara, Chhattisgarh. The project involves establish a mini steel plant of DRI Kilns (1,98,000 TPA), Induction Furnace with matching LRF & CCM (Billets / Ingots / Hot Billets) (1,98,000 TPA), Rolling Mill (TMT Bars / Structural Steel) 1,98,000 TPA, Ferro Alloy Unit 2 x 9 MVA (FeSi-14000 TPA / FeMn-50400 TPA / SiMn-28800 TPA / FeCr-30000 TPA / Pig Iron- 50400 TPA, WHRB based Power Plant – 15 MW & CFBC based Power Plant – 16 MW. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.3700 million. As of January 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Bellary Ispat is planning to take up steel plant expansion project in Halukundi, Bellary, Karnataka. The project involves expanding the steel plant of DRI Kilns, sponge iron from 30,000 TPA to 90,000 TPA, new induction furnace with matching LRF & CCM, MS Billets / Ingots / Hot Billets (90,000 TPA), new rolling mill (TMT Bars / Structural Steel) 90,000 TPA, new WHRB based power plant – 4 MW & CFBC based power plant – 6 MW) . The estimated cost of the project is Rs.1250 million. As of May 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
- Antractic Industries is planning to take up new steel manufacturing unit in Barmalipur, Payal, Ludhiana, Punjab. The project involves setting up new unit for manufacturing of 472500 TPA of Alloys/Non Alloys Steel Billets / Round, Coil, Wire Rod, TMT Bars and Flats by installing 4 induction furnace (Two no. IFs of capacity 15 TPH each and Two no. IFs of capacity 30 TPH each), LRF 20 TPH, Continuous casting machine and a rolling mill of 60 TPH capacity. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.390 million. As of February 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
