Laurus Labs’ New R & D Unit
Laurus Labs is planning to take up a new R & D unit in IKP Knowledge Park, Turkapally (V), Shamirpet, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Telangana. The project involves setting up new R & D unit for process development in the area of chemicals, pharmaceuticals and other related activities. The project is estimated to cost Rs.142 million. As of December 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
Shirdi Sai Electricals’ New 4000 MW Solar Power Project
Shirdi Sai Electricals is planning to take up new 4000 MW solar power project. The project involves setting up 4,000 MW manufacturing capacities for for Polysilicon + Ingot-Wafer + Cell + Module, high-efficiency solar PV modules under the production linked incentive scheme (PLI) floated by the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE). As of December 2021, company has signed an agreement with German engineering services firm Viridis.iQ GmbH for the project.
