Coastal Corporation commences work on Rs 150 crore Ethanol Project in Odisha

 

Coastal Corporation Limited, one of the country’s oldest and most successful export-oriented shrimp processors, has begun construction on its ethanol plant.

On Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Chief Minister of Odisha, Shri Naveen Patnaik, performed a GroundBreaking Ceremony (Bhoomi Pujan) in Maringhi Village, Gajapati District, Odisha.

Coastal Biotech Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Coastal Corporation Limited, plans to build an ethanol plant with a capacity of 198,000 KLPD on 30 acres of land for INR 150 crore in capital expenditure.

The factory is expected to start producing in March 2023. Excel Engineering of Pune has been awarded the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract.
