EIL and Chempolis sign MoU for green technologies

Engineers India Limited (EIL) and CHEMPOLIS OY, Finland, have formed a strategic partnership to convert biomass into green fuels.

The Collaboration Agreement between EIL and CHEMPOLIS was signed on November 24, 2021 at the EIL Head Office in New Delhi. Ms. Vartika Shukla, C&MD, EIL, Mr. SK Handa, Director (Projects), EIL, Mr. AK Kalra, Director (HR), EIL, Mr. Sanjay Aggarwal, MD, Fortum India, and Mr. Faizur Rehman, Head-Bio2X, Fortum signed the agreement.

This partnership will open the road for company expansion in the renewable energy sector’s sunny sector, namely Cellulosic 2G Ethanol Technology. This is a significant step forward for EIL in its expansion into futuristic green technologies beyond its strong Oil & Gas portfolio, and it continues the nation’s road toward Net Zero.
