Dixon Technologies and Acer India, India’s biggest PC brand, have teamed to manufacture laptops at Dixon’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Noida.
In the presence of Sunil Vachani, Executive Chairman, Dixon Technologies; Harish Kohli, President & Managing Director Acer India; and Sudhir Goel, Chief Business Officer, Acer India, Saurabh Gaur, Jt Secretary Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, inaugurated the production site.
This would boost India’s manufacturing competitiveness and make the government’s production-linked incentive (PLI) more effective. The factory will be able to manufacture up to 500,000 laptops each year.
