On Line 3 of Ramco Cements’ Jayanthipuram cement factory in Andhra Pradesh, a new waste heat recovery (WHR) unit was commissioned.
The system comprises of two boilers, according to the firm, and the first on the line’s cooler has been begun.
In June 2022, a second boiler will be installed at the line’s preheater.
The new installation raises the WHR capacity of the Jayanthipuram facility by 31% to 21MW.
