ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India’s New Steel Plant
ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India is planning to take up new steel mill in Kendrapada, Odisha. The project involves setting up integrated steel complex with capacity 12 MTPA. The steel plant will add significantly to the economic activity. the exact location of the project is yet to be decided. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.500000 million. On March 2021, company signed MoU with the State Government.. The pre project activities are going on. As of November 2021, project involves setting up 24 MTPA steel plant at Mahakalpara Block, Kendrapada with investment Rs.1022750 Million. The State Single Window Clearance & Monitoring Authority has approved the proposal.
Kiri Industrie’s New Petrochemical Manufacturing Project
Kiri Industries is planning to take up new petrochemical manufacturing project in Dahej Industrial Area, Dahej, Gujarat.The project involves manufacturing of nitro benzene(3,00,000 MTPM), weak Nitric acid (3,60,000), Aniline (99.9 wt %) (2,00,000 MTPM), Concentrated Nitric Acid-98.5% (50,000 MTPM), Hydrogen Gas (21,800) m3/hr(15,600 MTPA), Carbon Black Powder (1,40,000 MTPM), Indigo (Dye) (25,000 MTPM), Para Amino Diphenyl Amine (RubbeChemical) (15,000), Para Phenylene Diamine(10,000 MTPM), Cyclohexyl Amine(10,000), Technical Sulphanilic Acid (20,000 MTPM), Captive Power plant(26 MWH).The estimated cost of the project is Rs.20220 million. On January 2019, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of November 2021, project involves manufacturing Aniline, Nitrobenzene, Nitric Acid, m-Phenylene diamine at Dahej under its MDI complex project with investment of Rs.29000 Million. The Company signed MoU.
