RHI Magnesita, based in Vienna, plans to invest Rs 400 crore in India to expand its refractory manufacturing capacity, according to Global CEO Stefan Borgas.
According to him, the company currently produces 1.42 lakh tonnes (LT) of refractory material at three sites in Bhiwadi, Visakhapatnam, and Cuttack.
Without sharing any timeline, Borgas said, “The company plans to double its capacity to 2.8 LT. We will make Rs 400 crore Capex investment to expand India production capacity”.
