EL CEO Sharat Chandra commented on the development, saying that they are honoured to be a part of the Government of India’s Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Abhiyan, which is being implemented under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, and that they are also pleased to contribute to ensuring a clean environment for future generations through this manufacturing initiative.
EL participated and won the tender for a capacity of 4,000 MW for the construction of polysilicon, ingot wafers, cells and modules, it said.
