Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate the country’s first world-class railway station in Bhopal’s Habibganj On November 15.
Bhopal’s Habibganj railway station is the country’s first world-class model station, with all the amenities seen at major airports. It was created by the Bansal Group, a private enterprise, as part of a public-private cooperation.
The station, which cost roughly Rs 450 crore to construct, is modelled after Germany’s Heidelberg train station. The station’s makeover was announced in July 2016, and work began in 2017 with a three-year deadline.
