Evergreen Power to team up with Vector Green to build 300 MW wind plants

Vector Green Energy, Global Infrastructure Partners’ (GIP) Indian renewables platform, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Illinois-based Evergreen Power to construct roughly 300 megawatts (MW) of wind power projects in India.
Vector Green has 650 MW of operational renewable power, with wind accounting for only 23 MW. The MoU is intended to assist the corporation in expanding its wind energy portfolio in India.
Evergreen Power was granted 150 MW of wind projects by the Solar Energy Corporation of India in a September auction at a rate of Rs 2.69 per unit. It is also building a pipeline with a capacity of 250 MW.
