NTPC Renewable Energy Ltd has given Inox Wind a 150 MW wind power project order, the company has announced. The project will assist NTPC meet its goal of having over 60 GW of renewable energy capacity by 2032, accounting for approximately half of the company’s total power generating capacity.
It will be built on a turnkey basis at the Dayapar site in Gujarat’s Kutch area and will be operational by April 2023.
