The Noida Electronic City metro station is getting a 1.5-kilometer elevated stabling line so that it may act as a train depot.
Noida’s Electronic City station is the final stop on the Blue Line. For the time being, just one platform is used for both up and down excursions. The train pulls forward and returns without doing a U-turn after passengers from Delhi get off at the station.
Officials said that once the stabling line was completed, a depot at Electronic City might be created to house trains. The already-built second platform can then be used for journeys in the opposite direction.
The stabling line can accommodate a total of 20 trains at a time, according to officials, and there will be five elevated tracks.
