Dalmia Cement will build a 2 million tonne factory in Bokaro, Jharkhand, at a cost of Rs 577 crore, according to the state government.
According to a statement from the state administration, the Jharkhand government has secured land for the cement plant.
On August 28, Chief Minister Hemant Soren introduced the Jharkhand Industrial and Investment Promotion Policy (JIIPP) 2021 in New Delhi, and the cement maker declared commitment in this respect.
A statement said, “The Jharkhand government has made available 16 acres land for the project to the company at Balidih in Bokaro as per the Memorandum of Understanding within the timeframe and lease deed has been executed. The company will invest Rs 577 crore in the construction of the plant.”
