Raghu Nandan Sponge and Power’s New Steel Plan
Raghu Nandan Sponge and Power is planning to take up new steel plan in Akaltara Village, Simga Tehsil, Balodabazar, Chhattisgarh. The project involves setting up iron ore beneficiation plant of 0.9 MTPA, Pellet plant of 0.72 MTPA, Sponge iron 330000 TPA, Induction furnace with LRF & CCM (MS Billets / Ingots 316800 TPA), Rolling mill of 330000 TPA, Submerged electric arc furnaces of 3 x 9 MVA (Pig iron 71050 TPA), Briquetting plant of 300 Kg/Hour along with 22 MW WHRB based power plant and brick manufacturing unit of 55000 Brick/day. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.4980 million. As of October 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Rajyalakshmi Marine Exports’ New Shrimp Processing Unit
Rajyalakshmi Marine Exports is planning to take up a new shrimp processing unit in Mamidada Villahe, Jaggampeta Taluk, East Godavari, Andhra Pradesh. The project involves setting up of shrimp processing unit to produce frozen shrimp of capacity 20 TPD, Flake ice of capacity 40 TPD and Tube ice of capacity 25 TPD. The project is estimated to cost Rs.252.266 million. As of October 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project.
