Phase I of brownfield expansion at Specialty Products Division
The Precision Strip Mill, with a capacity of 26,000 tonnes per annum (TPA), was commissioned as part of Jindal Stainless (Hisar) Limited’s (JSHL) newest brownfield expansion plan at its state-of-the-art Specialty Products Division (SPD).
This expansion brings the overall precision strip production capacity to 48,000 TPA, up from 22,000 TPA previously.
Precision strip capacity growth will strengthen the Company’s foothold in industries such as auto, process industry, oil and petrochemical, and aerospace and electric cars, as well as supplementing suppliers.
