Sheela Foam opens new plant in Gujarat

Sheela Foam Ltd, makers of the popular mattress brand Sleepwell, announced the launch of a new 100% export-oriented factory in Nandi Gaon, Gujarat.

The plant will be able to make 1,000 beds per day and will be extendable to 3,000 mattresses per day by the end of current fiscal year, according to a statement from the firm.

Sheela Foam’s product portfolio in international markets will be strengthened with the addition of the factory, which will make both spring and foam mattresses and cater to the export market, the statement added.

Sheela Foam Chairman and Managing Director Rahul Gautam said,” We have always been driven by growth and expansion. We are proud to announce the opening of our 100 per cent export oriented Unit in Nandi Gaon, Gujarat…This expansion strengthens and reflects our commitment to the society, aligning with the government’s ’Make in India’ vision.”
