Shah Paper Mills’ Paper Mill Expansion
Shah Paper Mills is planning to take up Paper mill expansion in GIDC Vapi, Valsad, Gujarat. The project involves expand the existing capacity of printing / writing / news / print paper from 5500 TPM to 9000 TPM as well introduce higher capacity of turbine (CPP). The estimated cost of the project is Rs.766.4 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
JCL’s Coke Production Expansion Project
Jindal Coke is planning to take up Coke production expansion project in Kalinga Nagar Industrial Complex (KNIC), Jajpur, Odisha. The project involves expansion of coke production from 0.425 MTPA to 0.78 MTPA by installation of a new Stamp charge by-product recovery coke oven battery (COBP#2) in the existing steel plant. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.2700 million. On April 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway. As of September 2021, project involves expansion of coke production from 0.425 MTPA to 0.85 MTPA by installation of a new Stamp charged By-product Recovery type Coke Oven Battery (COBP#2) along with 15 MW of power from CDQ in the existing plant premises with investment Rs.4700 Million. The environment clearance for the project is underway.
