NTPC gives hydrogen plant contract to Technip

NTPC has awarded French engineering company Technip Energies engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning (EPCC) contract for its hydrogen generation plant.

The contract includes the delivery of a five-megawatt hydrogen generation plant using proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolysis technology at a super thermal power station.

The project is located at Vindhyachal, Madhya Pradesh, India. It fits a large-scale green hydrogen production facility.
