An estimated Rs 160 crore would be spent on the construction of the civil hospital in Anand. Most likely, work will start in October 2023.
With a construction area of 5,000 square metres, the hospital will have a footprint of 29,000 square metres.
It will have 3 floors, in addition to a basement and ground floor. The hospital’s civil work maps have been finalized. With a capacity of 200 beds, the hospital is set to cater to the healthcare needs of the region.
Collector DS Gadhvi has promptly allocated 29 thousand square meters of land in the veterinary college quarters area to the health department for the construction of the hospital.
