German supplier of aircraft materials Bikar aircraft GmbH decided to locate its sophisticated aerospace service unit in India’s Belagavi Aerospace Cluster (BAC).
Bikar will now be able to serve the aerospace production facilities in India’s aerospace triangle, which consists of Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Belagavi. By the first quarter of 2024, the company hopes to have the new facility completely operating.
With more than 30 industrial units and a prime location, BAC, run by Aequs Infrastructure, offers an ideal setting for Bikar’s operations.
Aravind Melligeri, Chairman & CEO of Aequs, welcomed Bikar Aerospace to BAC, stating “We are excited with the addition of Bikar to the Aerospace Ecosystem at BAC, India’s first notified precision engineering and manufacturing SEZ. Bikar, a family-owned company with over 60 years of experience, is known for its expertise in distributing non-ferrous metals.
