Uttarakhand is preparing to hold a Global Investors’ Summit with the goal of boosting investment in the state and creating jobs.
This year’s summit is anticipated to take place in either November or December. Pushkar Singh Dhami, the chief minister, has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lead the ceremony.
To go through the preparations, Dhami had a meeting on Thursday in the Secretariat. The summit will play a significant role in making Uttarakhand one of the top states by 2025, according to Dhami.
During the meeting, Dhami directed the officers that all preparations for the Summit should be completed well in time.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to inaugurate the Global Investors’ Summit in Uttarakhand, as CM Dhami has requested him to inaugurate the Summit to be held sometime in November or December later this year, as per his convenience.
It may be recalled that Modi had inaugurated the first Global Investors’ Summit in Dehradun around three years ago when Trivendra Singh Rawat was the Chief Minister.
