Hindalco Industries is planning to take up new Chakla Coal mine in Chandwa, Latehar, Jharkhand. The project involves development of Chakla Coal
Mine (North Karanpura Coalfield) [Area: 863 ha] with production capacity of Coal 4.5 Million TPA. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.11730 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Municipal Corporation Sagar’s New Sewage Treatment Plant
Municipal Corporation Sagar is planning to take up a new sewage treatment plant in Sagar, Madhya Pradesh. The project involves establishment of sewage treatment plant with capacity 43 MLD. The project is estimated to cost Rs.401 million. As of September 2021, the company has received consent from the state pollution control authorities to establish the project
