NREDCAP’s New Chitravati Pumped Storage Project
New And Renewable Energy Development Corporation Of Andhra Pradesh is planning to take up new Chitravati pumped storage project in Peddakotla and Parnapalli, Anantapuram, Andhra Pradesh . The project involves setting up pumped storage project (PSP) at Chitravathi balancing reservoir comprising 500 MW/ 2805 MWH storage capacity. The estimated cost of the project is Rs.17975.9 million. As of September 2021, environment clearance for the project is underway.
Orissa Metallurgical Industry’ Integrated Steel Plant Expansion Project
Orissa Metallurgical Industry is planning to take up integrated steel plant expansion project in Gokulpur, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal. The project
involves expansion of integrated steel plant from 1 to
2 MTPA (Finished steel) with 283 MW CPP. The
estimated cost of the project is Rs.10000 million. As
of September 2021, environment clearance for the
project is underway.
