The Agartala Airport in Tripura’s former terminal building may be used for commercial development, and the Airports Authority of India (AAI) has solicited proposals from consultants to create a master plan and a financial and technical feasibility report.
The list of tasks included in the scope of work also includes, but is not limited to, creating the master plan, business plan, techno-commercial feasibility report, determining the kinds of commercial activities (permitted under the AAI Act) that can be offered at the project sites, creating the facility layout plan, and putting forth various financial models and leasing options.
The consultant will undertake the study and survey the sites, collect and verify structural parameters of project sites, prepare feasibility report, preliminary design and concept plans, and assist AAI in managing the bidding process for the commercial utilization of the project sites.
The last date for bid submission is 8 June, 2023.
