A 77-acre industrial property tract in Pune’s Chakan industrial region has been purchased by Asia Pacific logistics real estate leader LOGOS and its joint venture partner Ivanhoe Cambridge in order to build a sizable logistics park.
The land tract has more than 2.2 million square feet of development potential. The project will get an INR 650 crore investment from the LOGOS India-Ivanhoe Cambridge logistics venture. The site’s master plan will emphasise sustainability-driven development and include Grade A industrial and logistical structures.
The site is perfect for storage, industrial, e-commerce, and third-party logistics (3PL) customers due to its excellent position providing direct access to the Mumbai-Pune Motorway and Mumbai-Bangalore NH 48.
Work on the project is set to commence in August 2023, and it is expected to be developed in two phases over a period of three years.
